Jason Palermo, a native of Newark, began perfecting his craft in the pastry kitchen at a young age alongside his mother and grandmother. His extensive kitchen experience led him to the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan, where he graduated in 2006. His passion and dedication are reflected in his signature J cake, a recipe handed down from his grandmother.
